We want you to have the best vision possible, period.

Comprehensive Eye Exams

Comprehensive Eye Exams include:

  •  We’ll update your vision by performing a Refraction to look for glasses prescription (refractive error) due to the shape of your eye not focusing the light properly, which causes your vision to be blurry.
  • Proper eye alignment is important to alleviate eyestrain and allow your eyes to work together and see 3D, this is called binocular vision testing.
  • Screening for ocular disorders including dry eye, cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration to name a few conditions we routinely encounter.
  • Dilation to view the back area of the eye (the retina) for any moles, freckles, scars, holes or tears, as well as the optic nerve that connects your eye and your brain and well as the blood vessels that may show signs of high blood pressure or diabetes.

The eye is a window to the health of the body so we can see other conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and thyroid disease to name a few. The American Optometric Association Optometric advocates comprehensive eye exams for all adults every one to two years as recommended by your eye care provider.
